Trewin Design Architects is a multi-award-winning architectural practice. Masterplanning

We have a broad range of experience in Masterplanning; rural architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, conservation architecture and town planning. We excel in creating the very best value for our clients, providing unrivalled practical knowledge of mixed-use and residential markets to support our proposals. We have proven project management and community consultation expertise, which ensures that our clients have the dedicated support they need on what are often large, complex and long running projects.

Planning Applications

With fifty years of experience behind us, we have well established relationships with planning and building control authorities in the South West. This puts us in a strong position to advise on local planning constraints and the complexities of the planning process. We have been commissioned for a number of difficult planning consents for sensitive locations and have given evidence at multiple planning appeals. A combination of negotiating skills born out of many years of experience and an in-depth knowledge of planning policy, help us to ensure that applications are successful.

Sustainability

Trewin Design Architects believe that every design should have sustainability at its core. Our environmental policy commits us to delivering cost effective sustainable solutions on all our projects which helps us to produce buildings with lower running costs. We have in-house sustainable homes experts and work closely with accredited assessors to ensure we achieve optimal levels of sustainability on all our projects. We are a member of ‘Architects Declare’ and now have a fully qualified Passivhaus architect, Luis Santos, who consults across all our projects.
