Beacon Heights

A regeneration development of 93 new homes on a former Brownfield site in Bodmin.

Trewin Design worked with Leadbitter and DCH in providing 93 new houses in a regeneration project on a former brownfield site in Bodmin. Our comprehensive masterplanning study undertook extensive tenant and community consultation throughout the design process to ensure there were enough quality social spaces to build a new community.

This was a challenging site of 1.5ha, including adopted highways on a steep sloping site. Beacon Heights achieved CSH Level 3 using solar design, energy and water saving measures, onsite renewables, recycling provisions and ‘A’ rated construction materials.
